Aesop Conference

Showing health, care and other sectors how the arts can work for them

One of Aesop’s three headline aims is ‘Show health, care and other sectors how the arts can work for them’. As well as realising the aim through the prescribe-arts platform, Aesop has so far presented two national sell-out conferences for health decision-makers. The partner venues were Southbank Centre and Guildhall School of Music and Drama. 48 leading arts-and-health programmes have been showcased and speakers include Dame Darcey Bussell, the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care and the Chairs of NHS England and Arts Council England. Covid and its impact on venues forced a planned 2020 event to be abandoned. A third conference will be arranged and this page will be updated when news is available.
